Configuration software for alpha-5.xx resp. alpha-8.xx 
alphasoft_inst_help_V119-e.txt; Issue 12 FEB 2006

This help file refers to the installation of the software version 1.19.
Please read the three "xxx" in the following file and folder names by
"119" (without the decimal point).

Improvements in V 1.19: 
In the alphasoft-Versions V 1.16 ... V 1.18 the failsafe configuration
worked faulty. Parameters had been calculated wrong.
Additional the mixer data (changed/selected by the user) had not been 
transferred into the alpha receiver.
We removed the bugs.

Improvements in V 1.19a:
The installer is upgraded that it works better with foreign language
operating systems.

1) Load down the zipped alphasoft ("alphasoft_install_Vxxx.zip") 
   from our homepage into a directory you like.
2) Unpack the file in any directory you like (e.g. "Copy").
 - In this directory (e.g. "Copy") following new files will be created: 
   "alphasoft" and "commapi" as well as "install.bat" and other files.
3) In this directory (e.g. "Copy") start "install.bat" by a double click.
 - The Java path and the "alphasoft" will be installed.
 - The start file "alpha.bat" will be copied into the
 --> "C:\Programme\schulze\alphasoft" resp.
 --> "C:\program files\schulze\alphasoft" or
 --> another directory you had selected in the installers input line.
 --> Additional there will be located a start button 
     "Schulze alphasoft.bat" on the desktop.
4) Now you can start the "alphasoft" in the above mentioned alphasoft
   directory by a double click on the start file "alpha.bat" or a 
   double click on the start button "Schulze alphasoft.bat" on the desktop.
