wave 2.4 GHz transmit modules and receiver series The wave series of transmitter modules and receivers is our response to the confusingly wide range of 2.4 GHz systems currently available commercially. Modellers “changing horses” often have to plan for the purchase of complete transmitters as well as new receivers. Only in a very few cases is it possible to transfer model memories; in most cases the model memories have to be re-configured. Continued availability of many systems over a period of many years may also be uncertain. This is our solution: Schulze offers a transmitter module system which can be installed in existing transmitters in just a few minutes. The aerials can be positioned in the most favourable direction for transmission (see picture, i.e. the aerial(s) must not be directed straight at the model!). Safety advantage using 2 transmitter aerials: The module can be purchased in versions with one or two aerials, the latter offering always a tremendous safety advantage. The transmitter aerials shall directed (as well as diversity receiver aerials) 90° to each other. That's why it is not possible to "aim" directly at the model by mistake. The same applies to our receivers: the larger receiver cases house two receiving sections for best possible diversity reception. The receivers are protected against wrong voltage polarity. Our 2.4 GHz system is compatible with other manufacturers’ equipment which uses the same transmission coding. For this reason please look for the slogan or logo “S3D compatible” - this will quickly help you locate the product which matches your model best.
![]() Transmission process: Spread Spectrum System with (Dual-) Frequency-Hopping (FHSS) More highlights: The µwave receivers and uno/duo-wave transmitter modules can be upgraded from yourself to the latest firmware version! The servo pulse repetition rate can be varied on the µwave receivers at the binding procedure. Normally a repetition rate of 18 ms is used which is good for all servos. Alternatively 14,26 ms can be selected. The µwave receivers can be configured via "POSE" which is "more than" S3D kompatible. (Note: The "POSE" interface is not part of the S3D transmit and receive coding.) The µwave receivers switch off the servo pulses when they received bad signals from the transmitter in the case when no failsafe was configured. This is the best safety feature - because the most electronic speed controllers will shut off the motor when the servo signal is missing! The uno/duo-wave transmit modules have a transmitting power circuit which works very efficient - this leads to a lower current consumption and less heat. A back channel with reduced power is existing. Is the model in reception range of the transmitter (max. about 20 m ... 50 m) then the buzzer in the transmit module is activated to warn the pilot when the receiver battery has under-voltage. |
